I've been coming to this lovely el jay for months now and I've enjoyed every moment.
And I thought it would be fun if everyone posted a link to their favorite White Collar h/c fic.

While I don't think I could ever have an absolute favorite, this is certainly one that I find myself reading again and again.

As for mine, I can't pick one.

I like: hoosierbitch's "Nightmares";
arsencijade's "Men Must Not Divide" series;
gyzm's "Out in the Cold";
captanddeastar's "Jack of Diamonds"; and,
kriadydragon's "Rain".
(I should mention, as a wip, myystic's "Icarus's Parachute" which is also some fantastic sick!fic so far.)

as maybe some of my top five? Yes. I'm probably missing some, but that's a good start!

Mine is definitely "Sick Day" (http://kriadydragon.livejournal.com/210338.html) by kriadydragon. There is hardly a kriadydragon story I don't like.

A close second would be sahiya's "The Case File Flu" (http://ariadnes-string.livejournal.com/81197.html?thread=1591341#t1591341).

If you like it dark and angsty, there's the "Refuge" series (http://aisle-one.livejournal.com/tag/the%20refuge%20series) by aisle_one. (Warning: Neal/OMC non-con)

"Courage At The Side Of Your Bed" (http://rabidchild67.livejournal.com/63383.html) by rabidchild67 is also excellent and very angsty. She has more excellent h/c stories in her archive.

Oh gosh, I have so many faves, but the first one that popped into my head was Fortunate Son (http://gaelicspirit.livejournal.com/90742.html) by gaelicspirit. It features one my #1 fave tropes, trapped amidst rubble. It's a wonderful gen story!

hoosierbitch writes some lovely H/C; a really great one is Shelter, (http://hoosierbitch.livejournal.com/10814.html) where Peter and El help to pick up the pieces after Kate's death.

And of course, you can't miss her Broken Road series (starts here (http://hoosierbitch.livejournal.com/10814.html)). The story explores the inherent dub-con nature of a sexual relationship between Peter and Neal, not to mention issues of Neal's self esteem and past. It'll break your heart and then put it back together again. Must warn for dub-con and graphic sex, howevs.

And I would be remiss to leave out my pal elrhiarhodan's story It Should Not Have Happened Like This (http://elrhiarhodan.livejournal.com/109281.html), an AU where Elizabeth has died and Peter runs into Neal years later. Peter blames Neal for his obsession with catching him and the time he never had with his wife, and then, well, it's complicated. And very satisfying. Read eet! I must warn for an attempted sexual assault, however.

These Wasted Blues, Neal's heart is, quite literally, broken by the events following S3.10.
Shaking Through, Neal has the flu and Peter has to go undercover. The perfect expression of the sick!fic trope.
