Well, fellow Hurt Comforteers, it's Spring and the world is new, and it's time for some Comfort fics!

So let your fluff flag fly, people. Comfort food. Smoochies. Nursing someone through a bad cold. I’ll take puppies, kittens, non-con cuddling, baby monkeys riding on pigs, what have you. Let's do it!

Exhausted!Neal (gen)

Peter and his team are working on a tough case (lot of work and late stakeouts). Neal is so exhausted, he crashes in bed at June's during his lunch break. That's where Peter finds him in the afternoon when he goes to June's because Neal doesn't answer his calls.
Peter needs the help of Neal on the case, but Neal is so exhausted, Peter hesitates. And Neal doesn't want let him down. You get the picture ;)

Tag 1x08 (gen)

Tag for 1x08 : after Neal collapses, he doesn't regain consciousness easily. Peter has to use an oxygen mask/bottle (thanks to Jones). Then Neal doesn't recover quickly. He gets very dizzy when Peter helps him to stand up. So Peter doesn't leave him alone until he's sure Neal is fine. How much time it takes and how Peter takes care of him is up to the writer.

Sara's not a warm and fuzzy person. She knows this. So, it really should be Peter comforting Neal. Or Elizabeth, or June, or even Mozzie. But none of them are here and she is. And then she's better at it then she thinks.

Sharing a room/a bed (gen)

Neal and Peter are sharing a room (or a bed, up to the writer). Peter wants to watch the baseball game on TV and Neal wants to sleep.

If they are in the same bed, snuggling to get warm always makes me happy ;)

Car accident (gen)

A case turns bad when Neal ends up in the car Peter is chasing. The car (Neal is in) crashes during the pursuit.

I would prefer if Neal is not badly injured. The idea is more that Peter worries about Neal and wants to make sure he is ok, takes care of him, not only because he is his friend, but also he feels guilty for the accident.

El/Neal/Peter/Sara, Sara being comforted

Sara is having a rough time. Not anything life-changingly traumatic, but more than just a frustrating day at work. Elizabeth, Neal, and Peter all work in their own way to make her feel better. Sara, so used to self-sufficiency, doesn't know what to make of it. (But she finds in the end she doesn't mind and maybe even likes it.)

Like the subject line says ... maybe Peter goes into a building, leaving Neal outside, just as it explodes? Maybe it looks like he's shot but actually isn't? Neal was my first thought as the other person, but I don't mind if you have some other scenario in mind. Mostly I'm just looking for that moment of temporary grief and loss, followed by "eeee, not dead!"

For whatever reasons (up to the writer), Neal has skipped several meals. That makes him weak and famished. Peter (with El or not) makes a point to feed him.

Peter carrying Neal to safety (gen or P/N)

For whatever reason Neal is in danger, maybe he is stuck in a burning building or he was lost and finally Peter finds him. He is in no condition to move so Peter gathers him in his arms and carries him, bridal style :P, to safety, keeping up a soothing litany of comforting words :D

Alternate ending for 4x16 : Neal tries to stop his father. James hits him and goes away. Peter is quickly cleared and released (thanks to the camera in Pratt's briefcase). Then he takes care of an injured Neal, both physically and emotionally.

Peter wants to share with Neal his passion for baseball. He persuades Neal to watch a game on TV with him. Neal doesn't find any interest in the game and falls asleep on Peter's shoulder. Bonus point if Neal is such a snuggler Peter can't keep going to watch the game with such an octopus beside him.

First time I watched the episode in French, when Peter arrives at Neal's apartment at the beginning, I misunderstood what Neal said. He said : "Je ne suis pas très bière" (I'm not much of a beer drinker) and I heard : "Je ne suis pas très bien" (I'm not feeling well).

So, the prompt is : Neal isn't feeling well when Peter comes to talk about Adler.

Peter/Neal/El: jealous of the woobie

Neal is injured/sick and recuperating at the Burkes. El is as attentive as we expect her to be but Peter, he is embarrassed to admit, is a little jealous.

How far you want to take this - whether serious, relationship-redefing convos, or simply exasperated!Peter tries to fake it for his own snuggles, or maybe there's a reason El's being more motherly than usual is up to you.

Jones needs more love in the fandom. There are not nearly enough stories centered on him.

So Jones is sick/injured/case gone bad/something happened in his personal life and his friends are there for him. I am thinking Diana, Neal and Peter or any one or combination of them but if you want to use anyone else that is fine too.

Neal and Mozzie get drugged

Something happens on a case they are both working/undercover on or Neal is helping Mozzie with something and things go wrong and they both end up drugged. I am thinking nothing too serious. But they are both out of it for awhile and Peter is stuck taking care of both of them.

Or better yet maybe they all 3 end up drugged and have to be taken care of by Elizabeth or anyone else of your choosing.

Medical scare (gen or OT3)

Neal undergoes mandatory routine check-up and either the doctors find something potentially very serious and need to run additional tests or maybe the results get mixed up and for a short period of time Neal is forced to come to terms with the possibility that he has very little time left.

Peter and El are terrified as well but they are there for him and for the first time in a very long time Neal realizes that he has people who care about him/love him and will never abandon him.

Team Bonding

After a long case Peter, Neal, Diana and Jones go out for a drink or any other place of your choosing to unwind and relax. Or after a case gone bad Peter takes his team out somewhere for cheering up.

I would just like to see some team bonding. Banter, storytelling playing games that sort of thing.

Mozzie Presumed Dead

So I have this idea that for some reason Mozzie is presumed dead. An enemy makes them think that or he is somewhere where something happens. Just that he is thought to be dead for a little while. Then he shows up at someones where you wouldn't expect him too. Maybe Diana's?

Comfort for Mozzie if he is injured. Reunions with everyone. I am just looking for like Sholio said in an earlier prompt those moments of thinking the person is gone and then happiness when they find out they aren't. That is why I love presumed dead stories. All of the angst with no actual death and a happy ending. :)

Doggie TLC

Neal and Mozzie are dog-sitting Satchmo and something happens. Satchmo gets sick, hurts his leg, has an allergic reaction to something, something like that.

That is pretty much all I have for a prompt. Go from there. But please nothing too bad and Satchmo has to get better. :)
