Our Next Challenge: Whump-a-Palooza

Who's up for a new challenge?

Yes, I know - it's challenge season, what with various Bangs, Bingoes and, uh, Badgers, not to mention the wcpairings swap (sign-ups open until April 25 - just sayin'). But this one's so easy, you won't even notice!

In the tradition of our recent, very successful Kidfic Fest, this challenge will be an easy one: Sign up for a date, post a story on that date...well, that's about it, really. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Rules? But of course:

• Fics should be about Major Whump. Who is whumped is up to you. How they're whumped is also up to you. The focus of the story? Up to you! In other words, you can show the whump itself, the aftermath, the recovery and/or anything in between. Just, you know: no paper cuts.
• For fics, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask for a 500 word minimum this time. What happens if you don't comply? Why, it makes wee!Neal cry, of course. You don't want to be the one to put tears in those big, blue eyes, do you?
• Original artwork/manips/vids would also qualify, if any of you arteests out there are interested. That would be beyond cool.
• All our other Fic Fest rules apply (i.e. no RPF, warn for common triggers, all pairings, ratings, and crossovers welcome).

Postingks begin June 4 and run through the 23rd; if there are more sign-ups than that, we'll just add dates at the end. On June 4, there will be a master post - just post a link in the comments then, and your work will be added to the list.
