Our White Collar writers have been busy the last few weeks! We've had a wonderful infusion of whumpy stories, and [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 and I have made an effort to update the Neal!Whump Master List as best as possible today. Click on the awesome new graphic under the cut (courtesy of the talented [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13) to take you to the master list.

Credits: The manip was created with the following stock: a holding cell photo, a winter scene photo, Face Your Fears font, free grass brushes and branches in winter sample brush.

It's always possible we've missed to add stories recently posted, so we very much encourage self-pimping. If you've written something whumpy or know of something that's not included in the list yet, please post a link in the comments and let us know what category it should be added to.

Just so you can keep track of the new additions, here they are:

Appendicitis

The Hollowed Out World by dmk0064
Keller kidnaps Neal for whatever reason. He realizes Neal is sick. Really, really sick. Keller reluctantly tries to take care of Neal, but as Neal grows worse, Keller is forced to call Peter and tell him where he can get Neal so Neal could get medical treatment.

The Mercy Of The Fallen by sahiya
A few weeks after the events of "Countdown," Neal is on the outside looking in - and in desperate need of help.

Beating/Stabbing/Cutting/Torture

Better Men by bella_harvest
With a friendship nearly in ruins Peter and Neal talk about past misjudgments and hopes for a future that may already be forfeit.

Forged Smile by ButtermilkCavalry
"Peter would get his wife back home. And his dog an a leash." Takes place right after 3.10 Countdown. I have no idea how cruel I'll be in the future, so be warned. Neal will get hurt, probably worse than intended. Gen.

Getaway by frith_in_thorns
At least, Neal thought desperately, he wasn't bleeding all over his own clothes.

Cold/Flu/Infection/Fever

Blurred Lines by tj_teejay
Neal goes undercover with a group of bank robbers. When an untimely bout of bronchitis hits him, Peter is worried about Neal, but finds out that maybe he didn't actually have to be.

Close Quarters by nefhiriel
Pizza, blizzard conditions, and one sick CI.

Descending, Slowly by dmk0064
A feverish Neal paints; Peter worries.

Drugging/Poisoning

East Of The Sea by sholio
"I have a gun!" She pointed it at his face to emphasize the point.
"And I have a dying friend. Mine wins."

Knock On Wood by Phoenix-cry
A series of unusual suicides lead Peter and Neal into the world of the occult, and a scam. However a sudden turn in Neal's luck leave some believing in a true curse...as bad goes to worse they find a dangerous enemy where they least expect to find one.

Out Of The Cold by nefhiriel
A drugged Neal shows up on Peter's doorstep. And he's feeling talkative.

Exhaustion/Malnutrition/Dehydration

I Will Not Eat The Darkness by embroiderama
In the aftermath of El's abduction and the months of worry and indecision that came before, Neal finds himself alone and increasingly ill while Peter struggles to balance his anger and concern.

Gunshot Wound

Allies by imbecamiel
Neal drops by The Greatest Cake bakery and unwittingly ends up in the middle of a hostage situation.

Cackle Bladder by misura
First rule of the con: don't get shot.

Kill Caffrey by Lacadiva
An undercover assignment goes bad, and the only way out for Peter could mean tragedy for Neal. Friendship, crime drama.

Partners by wolfbane17
Because Neal doesn't just work with Peter. And Agent Jones doesn't just consider Neal a criminal.

Red Lines On White Walls by kriadydragon
An old associate of Neal's has requested his help, and isn't giving him much choice in the matter.

The Art Of Skywriting by dmk0064
Neal suffers a gunshot wound and as he awaits help; he sees things more clearly. This is actually an answer to a prompt on the fever fest at lj white collar hurt comfort community: Neal gets sick while on assignment and wanders away.

The Long Haul Back by nefhiriel
No cellphones, no tracking anklet, and a lot of miles to cover before Neal and Peter are out of the woods. The non-figurative kind of woods. To help the odds, Neal's shot in the leg.

The Only Thing Constant by Min Daae
Groundhog Day was never Neal's favorite movie. Every time the situation with the treasure is resolved, Neal blinks and it's the day Adler dies all over again. (Contains character death(s), but then again, not really.)

The Secret Of Past Lives by dmk0064
AU - Peter didn't catch Neal the way he does on the show; he regains Neal's trail after having lost him for several months, finding him in a certain fleabag motel in New York, dangerously sick and clearly having been unwell and underfed for quite a while…

Two Steps, Twice by neontiger55
Post Countdown, Neal is teetering on the edge of survival, while Peter learns some hard truths.

Hypothermia/Heatstroke

Cold Night by sholio
It was the sort of situation that was made to go FUBAR: swirling snow, below-freezing temperatures, and a standoff on a turnpike overpass in Jersey.

Leg Injury

Safety Net by nefhiriel
Sometimes friends can get you into trouble, but the important thing is that in the end they're there to pick you back up.

Non-con/Rape/Abuse
(Warnings for non-con should be inherent)

Even The Stars Are Not Safe In Heaven by elrhiarhodan
In the two years following Elizabeth Burke’s kidnapping and her safe recovery, Peter has cut Neal out of his life, unwilling to forgive his part in Elizabeth’s trauma or the betrayal of their own partnership. The story begins with Neal’s successful completion of his work-release, and he says goodbye to Peter. It is a moment of finality. But time passes, some wounds heal and tragedy brings them back together.

Panic Attack/PTSD/Psychological Trauma

Knife Edge by sholio
As prisons go, Neal thought, this was rather a nice one. At least, it started out that way.

Over Ghosts by silver_falcon24
Post-Withdrawl, Neal is still not quite himself, but they’re all coping. Then Peter gets a call; Neal’s twenty feet out of his radius and not moving. It’s not much, but before the day is out Peter is going to get a much better idea about what it’s like to be a man trapped in two miles that proved to be just enough to stop him saving the woman he loved.

Sleep Deprivation

Dreaming Through The Noise by frith_in_thorns
It took longer than it probably should have for Neal to realise he was seriously in trouble.

Here you go!
