Title: Prisoner of History
Characters: Eliza Caffrey/Alison Brooks (Neal's mother), Kathryn Hill/Ellen Parker, Neal Caffrey/Danny Brooks
Rating: PG-13
Tracks: 12
Total word count (titles, lyrics, explanation): 687
Cover dimensions: 640 x 640 pixels
Tracklist dimensions: 402 x 402 pixels
Content Notes: Depression, alcoholism.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: Eliza never wanted to go into WitSec. She thought it'd be like a cage, a prison for her instead of James. It wasn't as bad as she'd imagined. It was worse.
Credit: Elliott Brooks' Instagram for one image (the actress who (i think) played Neal's mother).
Author's Note: Title from I'm In Here by Sia. Made for the prompt 'imprisonment' on my [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo card.

Title: The Gift of Fever
Characters (Pairings): OT3 (Peter/Elizabeth/Neal)
Rating: PG13 (language, mostly.)
Word Count: 8100
Warnings:Spoilers None.
Disclaimer: Nope, not mine. I'm just playing.
Summary: A story of Neal's three visitors. One to remind him, one to show him, and one to warn him. From [livejournal.com profile] pooh_collector's prompt for the [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc2013 advent. "Has anybody ever done A Christmas Carol, WC edition? This haven't been going well for Neal. It was a crappy year with his deadbeat dad, Peter's imprisonment, et al. Then on Christmas Eve he comes down with a terrible cold complete with fever and is visited by those three ghostly figures who show him how his life has been important to those that love him."
Authors Notes: I got a little off script from the prompt, sort of. Because that's what I do and the muse was being especially fickle with this one. I hope I at least sort of do it justice. ;)

"Bah humbug." Neal stood and stretched. He couldn't see it but he knew Peter was frowning. He rolled his eyes and plastered on a smile before he turned around. Peter was already staring, frown in place, when he did. "I'm kidding, Peter. What kind of man would hate Christmas?"

Summary: In For the Ends of Being and Ideal Grace, Neal and Ellen Caffrey, his aunt, are reconciled after a long estrangement. This is that story of how that happened and why she said what she did. It’s also a story without a happy ending.

Title from Annie Lennox "Into the West".

Promps Dealing with a sleeping disorder
Word Count:1448
Summary:You only appreciate it when you can't. Sleep. Neal didn't know he had a serious problem. Until he noticed some health problems.

A/N:Thank you for taking your time to read my ramblings. I am Dutch and currently learning to write "better" in English. all mistakes are mine. (About this particular form of sleeping disorder. Most of the patients are constantly tired and unable to control their feelings. When they get emotional they could fall asleep from the same spot or collapse onto the ground unable to control their muscles. Somehow I ended up with this idea because Neal has always been a great conman. But what happens when he can’t control his feelings from his serious lack of sleep? And what if he wasn’t always this good at playing smooth?)

Title: Feels Like A Long Time Ago
Author: iamhere23
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~5,000
Spoilers: season 4 so far
Warnings: shameless whumping of Neal in the present and the past?
Summary: It's cold and strange outside. The Christmas lights have a weird dance going on with the snow in the sky. Everything hurts. It hurts to move, it hurts to think. He's supposed to be running from someone... or is someone supposed to be looking for him? He stole something again... he thinks. Probably.

A/N: This is for the White Collar Hurt/Comfort Advent. I haven't had much time to write lately, and naturally when I do decide to write, I sort of end up writing kidfic *facepalm*. Nonetheless, it's got enough physical and emotional H/C to sprinkle abundantly in a cookie, and I love sprinkles in my cookies, so yey! \o/

Also, this is the first time I ever try to do some artwork, so the story header is mine too. :D

Author’s notes: This was written in one night for the White Collar H/C community’s 2012 Advent Calendar. This is a blatant rip-off of “A Christmas Carol.” Thank you Charles Dickens for your wonderful story.

With huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] taste_is_sweet for her excellence in beta! She’s also a great writer too. Go check out the link to her book on her lj  page!

'Neal,' she said again, cajoling, insistent. 'Neal, I need to talk to you.' )
