He was shot, point blank, six times and his recovery has been slow – but aided in part by the yellow Lab he and Elizabeth have adopted.

Peter and Elizabeth have a very special marriage – they have, on many occasions, let others into their life and their bed. But during Peter’s recovery, it’s been just the two of them.

Neal and Peter meet, the attraction is instant, and it’s the same when Elizabeth and Neal meet, too. While the Burkes want to make Neal part of their lives, Neal has a past, one that still has the power to hurt him.

Title: Mind Game
Author: Gaby
Pairing: non-con Neal/Keller, established Peter/El/Neal
Characters: Neal, Peter, El, Keller
Warning: non-con, mind games
Spoilers: this fic is set sometime after 3x11 "Checkmate"
Rating: R
Genre: angst, hurt/comfort
Author's Notes: This is a fill for dreamsofspike's prompt over at whitecollarhc as part of the whump-a-looza II. I admit that I tweaked the original idea somewhat, but I do believe (hope!) that the fill still caters to dreamsofspike's darker side. *eyebrow waggle*
Prompt: Neal is sexually assaulted. Context can be anything you like, maybe it's random, maybe it's revenge, maybe it's an overly twisted hostage-taker who takes advantage - but whoever it is, they make him get on his knees, at gunpoint, and they make him beg for it. (Not beg them not to, but beg FOR it - otherwise they'll kill him, or possibly someone else).
Afterwards, Neal's head is all screwed up about it. Logically he knows it wasn't his choice, he didn't want it, but being forced to ask for it like that messes with his head. He needs all kinds of loving comfort and reassurance that it wasn't his fault, there was nothing he could have done. (Peter/Neal or OT3 please)
Additional Author's Notes: This also fills the "sexual extortion" square on my hc_bingo card. \o/
Beta by dmk0064. My eternal gratitude for fixing Keller's voice, pointing out the plot holes, big and small, and helping me iron out the confusing consent issues. Summary: When Peter finds a dead robot at a murder scene, the obvious choice is to bring in the military to help fix something they created. What Peter didn't expect was to start caring for the robot like he would a son, or realize that the robot was keeping secrets from him. Secrets that could cost both of them their lives.

Notes: This story is a cross-over between White Collar and Stargate Atlantis and takes place in the Scruffy AI 'Verse which was originally created by [livejournal.com profile] taste_is_sweet. Her AU is a fantastic journey through the Stargate Atlantis fandom where robots are a bit more common than they are now.

While you don’t need to read those stories to understand this one (I hope!) I think you’d really enjoy them. Huge thanks to Taste-is-Sweet for allowing me to borrow her world and bring it from the Pegasus Galaxy to New York.
