Author's Notes: This story is written for the February Challenge in H/C bingo. My squares were hurt/comfort, eating disorder, coma, de-age, wild card (slavery). This story is a sequel to Easier to begin than to quit. I guess the story will make more sense if you read that story first.

Summary: Neal is in an accident, something happens during his recovery that makes him rethink the way he thinks about his Masters.

Spoilers: None.
Word Count: ~2500
Summary: For as long as he can remember, something curious happens to Neal when he gets sick - he turns into a little boy. This time, Peter and Elizabeth are there for him.

Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc's Advent 2014. Title shamelessly borrowed from the Christmas carol by William Chatterton Dix. Artwork is by the amazing [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 who took the idea and turned it into something magical before the story was even written. Much love to you, my friend! (Psst – click to enlarge.)

( Neal sniffled and tried to hold back the cough that had been tickling his throat for the last few minutes. )

Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] citrinesunset's fandom stocking. Title by the amazing [livejournal.com profile] pooh_collector!

Title: Cursed and Blessed
Author: [livejournal.com profile] embroiderama
Rating: PG-13
Pairing/Characters: Neal, Peter and El
Word count: 2,400
Warnings: Some mild sick-fic ickiness. (Blame it on [livejournal.com profile] ivorysilk.)
Spoilers: Slight spoilers for S4
Summary: Neal experiences his "little" problem again while visiting the Burkes, and Peter might be clueless about taking care of kids but he knows how to be there for Neal. (de-aged!Neal)

Notes: This is a sequel to Gift of a Curse, and I wrote it for my Timestamp Meme. It's set post-anklet.

( The possibilities were wide open, and Neal should have expected to wake up tiny in the middle of the Burkes' guest bed but somehow it was still a surprise. )

The Rule

Title: The Rule
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kcrenegade
Rating: PG-13
Characters: lil!Neal, Peter, Elizabeth, Satchmo, Mozzie, and June
Spoilers: Nothing specific but anything that's aired in the US just to be safe.
Warnings: Sadness. Crying. Ouchies. lil!Neal in peril. But no death.
Summary: Neal does not always understand everyone all the time. And there are still rules he has to learn.
A/N: Written for the Whump-a-Palooza over at [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ivorysilk who was an awesome beta. Any other mistakes are my own.
A/N2: This is part of my Riddle!Verse in which there is wee!Neal. This is only one of the possible continuations of the story. While its not totally necessary to read The Riddle, this story would make more sense and mean more if you did.

Sometimes, even now, Neal didn’t really understand the rules of big people.

Title: Mending
Fandom: White Collar
SeriesSneakers and Sheriff Badges. This is the fourth part, but can be read as a stand-alone!
Rating: PG-13
Content Advisory: Allusions to neglect and abuse.
Notes: This was written for the Whump-a-Palooza fest on[livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc.
Thanks: I had two wonderful betas for this fic: [personal profile] neontiger55 and [personal profile] embroiderama! All remaining mistakes are my fault. Also, a special shout-out to ivorysilk, who's pretty much the entire reason that this is a 'verse, and not just that-kidfic-I-wrote-that-one-time.
Summary: Neal breaks his arm.

“Never mind,” Neal says, more of his head disappearing around the door, until he’s just a fluff of hair backlit by the Batman nightlight in the hall. “Go back to sleep. I didn’t mean to wake you up.”

Title: Let These Memories Provide
Author: [livejournal.com profile] embroiderama
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Neal & Peter, Mozzie, Diana
Word count: 10,325
Spoilers: none
Warnings: (highlight to read, nothing serious) discussion of the death of parents
Summary: When Peter is suddenly transformed into a small version of himself, Neal has to help him figure out how to grow up again.

Notes: Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] jane_eyre for the beta. This is the story I intended to write for [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc's Kidfic challenge, and I hope that late is better than never. Title from 10,000 Maniacs. The pictures in this LJ post were hugely inspiring.

( In Neal's private mythology, Peter was born full-grown, sprung from the bosom of Quantico, ready to pursue only the very best white collar criminals across land and sea in pursuit of justice. Standing in the middle of a storage unit, staring at three and a half feet of shaggy-haired, pink-cheeked Peter Burke, Neal had the feeling he was going to need a whole new chapter in his mythology. )

Title: The Simple Joy of Sunlight
Author: Huffydoo
Disclaimer: Nope don't own them, just rent them
Warnings: maybe lacking too much on the HC. Just wanted to do a Little Neal showcasing Neal and Elizabeth and her feelings.
Summary: A six month old and sunshine are the perfect remedy for a bridezilla.

Just a quiet, sweet moment between Elizabeth and de-aged Neal.

Title: Surprises
Author: [livejournal.com profile] holmes221b
Rating: PG-13
Characters and/or Pairing: Peter, Neal, etc; Peter/Neal friendship
Spoilers: 1x10 'Vital Signs', 1x14 'Out of the Box'
Warnings: De-aging of a Canon Character, FLUFF LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE (I'm not kidding), angst, language, violence (both on- and off-screen), deliberate endangerment of a minor, highly theoretical science, high body count (for this show)
Summary: When Peter is de-aged, Neal has to deal with a child full of surprises—and the mad woman who had the agent de-aged. Moreover, of course, Elizabeth's out of town (and she took Satchmo with her).
Author's Notes: This is my fic for the kidfic fest. Posting it about 30 minutes before my assigned day starts in my time zone because I am so excited about it. (rest of author's notes can be read at my journal). And can I get an author tag?

Title: Half-Pint Squared
Author: Ivorysilk
Rating: PG
Summary: Sequel to my earlier fic, Half-Pint Neal, which was written for the [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc comm’s feverfest; this one is being posted for the [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc community’s kidfest. You don’t really need to read the first one to read this one if you don’t want; all you need to know is that in the first one, Neal gets sick at school and Peter brings him home. This one picks up the next morning. I actually tried to write a second fic involving de-aged Peter and Neal (they squabble!), but it’s not yet done (I'm still not quite finished with this one!), so I’ll post a snippet from it later tonight or tomorrow if I can.
Spoilers: None, I don’t think. This is pretty much AU even aside from the fact that Neal is now a child; it ignores canon backgrounds for many of the characters, particularly Neal.
Warnings: References to physical discipline, and a bit of language, I suppose.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters, or this universe. I am writing this for my own self-indulgent fun, and because, like Neal, I clearly covet other people's things.

A/N: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rabidchild67 and [livejournal.com profile] hoosierbitch for reading over my earlier draft, and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rabidchild67 for running this awesome fest!

Comments, positive or negative, are treasured. Thanks for reading.

Word Count: 20,000+ (Two parts, four sections)
Summary: There is a reason this is happening to Neal, to Peter, to Elizabeth, to everyone. Find the answer.
A/N: Written for the Kid!fic Challenge for [livejournal.com profile] whitecollarhc. Big hugs to [livejournal.com profile] soteriophobe who is amazing for beta-ing this story. Every mistake left is of my own making. :D

Link will take you to the first part.

"Sitting in the only seat that was open for him, Neal scrunched his nose up and rubbed it with his hand before wiggling his toes inside his brand new blue tennis shoes."

Title: The Stream of Warm Impermanence
Rating: PG-13
Characters/Pairings: Preteen!Neal, Peter, El, Moz
Spoilers: None
Content Notice: De-aging; violence against a child, but nothing you wouldn’t see on TV
Word Count: 15,200
Summary: Neal Burke is 11 and the most popular boy in school. His dad Peter is a badass FBI agent, his mom Elizabeth makes the best chocolate chip cookies, and his Uncle Mozzie shows him how to pick locks when his parents aren’t looking. His life is great. Except that lately, Neal has been having these strange dreams – dreams of another life and another Neal. What if they’re true?

“What is that racket out there?” Elizabeth called from the kitchen, walking in and drying her hands on a kitchen towel. “Oh, it’s you,” she said, feigning disappointment.

Neal laughed lightly and rushed over to her, throwing his arms around her enthusiastically. “Mom,” he scolded, “you know you’re thrilled to see me!”
